The One is Sabah Kenway’s debut EP , mixed, mastered and produced by London based rapper and producer SFROMWEST.

This project is a formal introduction to Sabah Kenway as an artist, showcasing her nostalgic yet fresh sound, representing what she has to offer to her listeners as well as to the music industry as a whole.

The six track EP features three singles that are currently released - The One, Feelin’ Me and most recently, End of The Line - alongside three additional unreleased tracks - Delusional, Fool for Loving You (feat. SFROMWEST) and Never Knew.

The project as a whole has a clear mid- late 90’s and early 2000’s R&B influence with tracks such as The One and Delusional taking inspiration from the likes of Destiny’s Child and TLC, whilst Feelin’ Me with its Arabic/Middle-eastern inspired production is reminiscent of Aaliyah, while in turn, favouring Sabah’s North African roots and can also be heard on End of The Line which features an Arabic verse on the second half of the track.

Fool for Loving You is a reworked, re-imagination of Sabah’s debut single back in July of 2019, this time featuring rapper SFROMWEST. With it’s jazzy and soulful nuances the song is given new life and allows listeners a refreshing breather from the EP’s otherwise high energy and hyper-layered production.

The EP’s closing track Never Knew is a light hearted ballad inspired by the works of artists such as Monica and Mariah Carey and is also a nod back to Sabah’s earlier, more mellow releases such as Over and Rain of July.
